Mitchell D. Kaye, M.D.About Our Physician . . .Mitchell D. Kaye, M.D., FACSDr. Mitchell D. Kaye’s medical education began at Tufts Medical School in Boston with his MD degree in 1981. He then began his residency training at the Massachusetts General Hospital of Harvard University. He completed his Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery at Johns Hopkins Hospital and then served as the Assistant Chief of Service during his fellowship year at Hopkins. He has performed many thousands of procedures of all types in the highly sensitive and complex part of the body since obtaining his board certification in Otolaryngology/Head & Neck Surgery. Dr. Mitchell D. Kaye then underwent additional training and testing to obtain his second board certification in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. This is a natural refinement of his skills as a surgeon performing cosmetic and reconstructive surgery. Dr. Mitchell D. Kaye is also a fellow of the American College of Surgeons as well as many national and local medical societies dedicated to fostering excellence in Surgery. He is a fellow of the American Board of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, and a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, and the American Society of Cosmetic Breast Surgery. Dr. Kaye has practiced in Western Kentucky since 1987 and has been established in Hopkinsville since 1996. He and his staff moved into practice’s current location in 2002. This facility was designed with the Cosmetic Surgery patient in mind and offers a fully equipped Operating Suite, privacy for the patient and guests as well as certified ancillary staff dedicated to the goal of providing excellence in Cosmetic Surgery in a safe and compassionate environment. On a personal note, Dr. Kaye describes himself as a family man and has been blessed with a wonderful wife and three children. He enjoys the people and the physical beauty of this part of Kentucky. His primary hobby is aerobatic flying. Other interests include reading history and a number of athletic sports.
